Our team will help you throughout the hiring process, advising you on product selection and helping you book your order. Once we know all your needs we will email you a quote with the items availability.

 
 

When should I make my booking?

Please book as early as possible to save any disappointment especially in the peak season such as summer and Christmas. We do work on a first come first serve basis and stock is allocated accordingly.

 
 

How do I book and when do I pay?

Once you’re happy to proceed with your quotation we will finalise your order and confirm stock availability for your event date.

Orders can be secured with a 25% deposit in advance with full payment finalised 14 days prior to the commencement of hire.

 

Event Hire Prices

How does your pricing work?

Saffron Events offer a simple pricing structure that is based on the length of time you hire. Standard hire is for 48 hours allowing delivery by noon a day prior to your event date and collection by noon the day after.

Event equipment hire required for more than 7 days will be charged at a weekly hire rate. Additional hire days and late returns will be charged at 25% per day.
Long term, seasonal and special event rates may be available at a discounted rate.

Please note the standard hire time does not apply to marquee hire, as delivery and collection times can vary.

 
 

Do you charge more for weekend hire?

No, weekends (including Bank Holiday weekends) are charged at our standard hire rate subject to availability, delivery and collection slots.

 

Set Up Service

Do you set up hire items?

In addition to supply only of the event hire equipment we also offer an additional set up and take down service.

We assist in meeting even the most stringent of event deadlines allowing you to concentrate on your event.

Delivery & Collection

When do you deliver and collect?

Our core hours of delivery and collection are Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5pm. If you require delivery and collection to be made out of these hours we can endeavour to do so, please let us know at the quotation stage.

 
 

Do you have a delivery charge?

Yes, delivery and collection charges apply dependent on where you are located in the country. This is calculated by the mileage from our warehouse, event hire equipment required and the size of vehicles used for delivery.

Please let us know of the venue address at the time of enquiry and we can include the delivery rates on your order accordingly.

 

Terms & Conditions

Can I make changes to order?

You are welcome to add to your order at any stage of the hire (subject to availability). Small deletions can be made up to four weeks prior to delivery however charges may apply for cancelled orders.

 
 

Am I responsible for items delivered to venue?

We have standard terms and conditions covering our entire range of event hire equipment. As the hirer you are responsible for all the equipment whilst in your possession including any loss, damage or breakages. We recommend that you arrange for adequate event insurance to cover the replacement of equipment hired.
